INSTRUCTIONS AND CRITERIA FOR SELECTING/RESERVING AREAS

The 56th INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION will be held at the Transamérica Expo Center in halls D and E. As everyone knows, to hold an event of excellence and keep costs accessible for companies to participate as exhibitors, in 2018 ABTCP adopted a semi-standardized event model. We started with booths, up to 48m2, with 3 pre-defined assembly models for companies to choose from. The original idea was to gradually increase the mandatory footage so that the event would become 100% standardized in a few years. For this, we would need the adherence from all exhibitors, including those with larger areas.

To assess the efficiency of this initiative in the last two editions, in 2024, we will hold the event in a free area format (where the exhibitor – regardless of footage – is free to present its own project, following the project presentation and assembly rules defined in the Exhibitor’s Manual). In this condition, everyone will be able to evaluate the differences in the exhibition’s overall view, as well as the costs involved in having their own project. We will maintain three project models in the Exhibitor’s Manual for those who have already adapted to the advantages of these models, but with optional contracting. Based on feedback, we will decide whether to maintain the free area format or go back to the booth standardization idea in 2026.

1) GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

1.1 – To enjoy your rights as members – of any category – all members must be up to date on their membership contribution fees.

1.2 – The areas defined by ABTCP in the exhibition map will not be divided.

1.3 – Requests for measurements outside the standard island and/or modules available in the event map will not be accepted. Initially, the company must occupy the island or island tip available. Only in cases where the desired footage is not available on a single island, the exhibitor may supplement the footage from the space of another separated island.

1.4 – After selecting/reserving an area, if the company wishes to give up part of the footage, it will lose the right to the chosen area and shall choose a new area in a different location from the previous one.

1.5 – A login and password for accessing the contract issuance tool will be sent to the email provided for this purpose in the reservation form. After the contract has been filled out and saved DEFINITIVELY in the contract issuance tool, a link for the digital signing of the contract will be sent, using ABTCP’s tool called YOPEN. The person designated as a witness will sign first, and only after this signature, the link for signing will be sent to the legal representative.

Obs: Companies that need to validate the contract with their legal department should save and print it as a DRAFT (as a contract draft) and only after getting approval, save it DEFINITIVELY. Contracts saved DEFINITIVELY will proceed to be signed by the witness and legal representative.

1.6 – After the deadline for confirming reservations made at the event launch in October 2023, ABTCP may carry out the dismemberment and/or unification of the remaining area spaces, as per the event’s needs.

1.7 – Reservations changes can be made at any time, subject to area availability.

NOTE: The reserved areas will be updated weekly on the map, in the event website. ABTCP will make available for sale the areas reserved by exhibitors who do not meet the conditions for confirming the area reservation, as previously defined. Requests for changes to area reservations will be satisfied, considering the order of arrival of requests, sent to the email: milena@abtcp.org.br

1.8 – Confirmation of the reservation of the area selected will be made under the following conditions:

Delivery of the contract: within 15 days after the reservation date, mandatorily through a digital signature process, using ABTCP’s tool YOPEN, completed.

Down payment of the deposit (15% of the total cost): within 5 days after signing the contract.

Obs: The down payment deposit must be made via bank slip, which will be sent by ABTCP to the exhibitor, after receiving the contract duly filled out and signed.

Note: ABTCP will make available for sale the areas reserved by exhibitors who do not meet the conditions for confirming the area reservation.

1.9 – The price per square meter of space corresponds to the area. All assembly, staging, electricity, cleaning, and government fee costs will be the exhibitor’s responsibility and will be charged according to the rules/deadlines set forth in the Exhibitor’s Manual.

2) PRICES AND PAYMENT METHODS

2.1 – Prices and payment methods for AREAS - Values per square meter:
